Aerial view of the Cape Jones Mid-Canada Line Radar station, constructed in mid 1950s, closed in 1966 and abandoned since. Today (2023) the site is not yet cleaned-up. This line of defence was constructed to detect aircrafts from Russia at the time of the Cold War.
